Our goal is to make your dog happy and offer the best dog-vacation ever! After a fun day of play and activities, your pooch can relax in his/her own bed from home or one of our pallet or loft beds.
Multi-dog families can have dogs stay together in a large run for a discount.
Pet parents can choose to receive daily updates and pictures & possible dog-stardom on our Facebook page!

About Big River Kennels LLC
Nestled in the rolling hills and pine forests near Logan Martin Dam, we offer seven indoor, climate controlled kennel runs, a fenced outdoor play yard, five acres of wooded hiking trails and the chance for your dog to enjoy it all. Let your dog have a dogvacay while you're away!

Away all day at work or on the lake? Let your furry friend come play at Big River Kennels! We offer interactive group play for all socialized dogs, or individual play time for dogs that enjoy their own space or nervous nellies. Mini-walks are always offered four times a day.
Activities
Looking for a little adventure while on your dog-vacay? Sign-up for a private Nature Hike through the woods or a (seasonal) Pool Party in the doggie pool. $15 per activity. Group play is never extra for socialized dogs.
Pet Taxi Services
Dogs can't drive themselves, and you are busy. Let us help you with our Pet Taxi Services! With pre-registration for overnight boarding or daycare, we can pick-up and drop-off your furry friend. Typically run within a 30 mile radius of Big River Kennels.
Training
Focusing on positive reinforcement training, we offer individual and small group dog & owner training classes and dog-only classes for day or overnight boarders with owner briefings at pick-up. Small group classes are offered once a month to 3 dogs and their families at $50 per dog. Dog-only training during your stay is $15 per day, offering 3 one-on-one sessions for each paid day.
Cookies & Cuddles
Never any lonely hearts at Big River Kennels. If you know your dog needs extra love and attention at the end of the day, premium tuck-in service is available with Cookies & Cuddles. We will brush, snuggle or read to your dog before bed, while he enjoys a homemade, all natural, heart-shaped dog biscuit. $5 per night.
Go Home Gorgeous
Add a pooch spa service to your stay. Al la cart: nails, ears, paw balm massage, bath, blow-dry and brush-out or the entire Go Home Gorgeous package available. Al la cart services starting at $5, full package starting at $25 for dogs under 30 pounds, $30 for dogs 30 - 50 pounds, $40 for dogs 50 - 75 pounds, $50 for dogs over 75 pounds.
Food
Bring your own food from home or dine on our house brand, Diamond Naturals, where chicken is the first ingredient. $2 per meal. *Big Bark serving for big eaters $1 extra.
Half Day
Same amount of fun, and two mini-walks squeezed into a half day! The perfect solution for those with a house on the market, needing a dog-free showing or puppies that crave lots of play and attention before an afternoon nap!
