Nicole has lived across the US & currently lives & paints in rural Alabama.  Artistically, she is influenced by icons from the Eastern Orthodox Church and graffiti - both planned and spontaneous street art. Her style varies from loose, active brushwork to detailed lines and kitche images.

Continuously inspired by her own animals, travels to her wooded backyard or around the world, she often paints women and horses as the subject of her large abstract acrylic paintings.

Nicole completed a MA in Visual Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2000) & a BFA in Painting and Drawing with Art History from Colorado State University (1995).
